I saw one of the most interesting cars yesterday as I was at Publix in Riverside. It was an old-school, 1960s looking Subaru. It was like a clown car! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I was on the phone with McKara and pulling into the parking lot then I started going crazy over the car. I whipped into a parking space, drew my camera from it's hiding place in my bag, and started snapping pics of the micro car. I'll post them in a few hours.
Also, I went over to Joe, John, and Joey's (hahaha, I just realized the alliteration) to watch Year One. It was a relaxing night, and the movie was pretty funny.
I still can't get over how tiny the Subaru was. Trying to write about anything else just isn't a priority.

Day 59
Whoa, big gap in the days...
Life is going on, here is a quick rundown of the highlights:
10/2 - This was my first test of the semester! I was a little nervous, but guess what, ended up with a 91! Well on my way to at least an A- in Political Science Senior Seminar.
10/3-4 - After working on a paper Saturday, I went to Tallahassee for the weekend. Mom had her first solo at First Baptist Tallahassee. She sang like she always does and blew everyone away.
10/7 - First Wednesday Art Walk! This was a blast. Joe and a couple of his buddies from work came over and we left a mark on Jacksonville and a few bruises and cuts on me somehow...Oh yeah, and my jeans were ripped a hole in the seat.
10/8 - McKara came to visit for the weekend!
10/9 - Mom and Dad dropped by after class as they were on their way to Amelia Island to celebrate their 28th anniversary. Congrats Mom and Dad.
10/10-11 Lazy Weekend. Saturday we went to Jason's to watch the Florida/LSU game. Florida won, and Tebow did not suffer another concussion. Good job, Timmy.
Alright, that brings me to today. What a commonplace Monday. So far, nothing extraordinary has happened, but why should it? I haven't been looking for any for any unusual events to attend, but I will go to a blues concert sometime this semester.

Day 71
Alright, this post was meant for Sept. 30th. I was fiddling around with this blog trying to get my own ".com" up and running, but the technology gods are against me. Alas, I've reverted to the ".blogspot.com" so I can update. So here is a late coming post:
What a blast! Over 30 people donated to and ran in the dash and we collected a good sized pile of clothes to donate. Steve Morrow did a good job organizing the event and mapping out the course. We started the jog in between the Brooks College of Health and the parking garage, and ran to the dorms and back. The finale was a swim in the new fountain in front of the Brooks College of Health (why have a fountain unless you can swim in it?)
Also, tonight the Trivia Team got together again and made our unretirement appearance more dramatic than Brett Farve. At the Times Grill on 9A and Baymeadows, we rocked out and finished in the top three. That's right middle-aged useless knowledge cultivators, a bunch of young recent graduates and an undergrad beat you at your own game. Boo-yah.
Sorry for the blurry pics, I was obviously running while shooting pics.
